All the colonies situated in the northern, middle and southern are mainly engaged in farming activities but they are divided demographically.

American settlements in the northern, middle and southern have different climatic conditions but they all have engaged themselves mainly in agriculture production. The southern region cultivated crops like rice, tobacco, and indigo which had helped them to have a better standard of living.

Middle regions have gone into animal rearing which had big farmlands. Northern region mainly cultivated wheat and corn.
