The correct answer is B) Gilgamesh answered: "dear friend, dear brother,/ I cannot kill Humbaba alone,/ Please stay here with me, stand by my side,/ Two boats lashed together will never sink."

The evidence that supports the conclusion that Gilgamesh is a great leader is Gilgamesh answered: "dear friend, dear brother,/ I cannot kill Humbaba alone,/ Please stay here with me, stand by my side,/ Two boats lashed together will never sink."

<em>Stephen Mitchell wrote the book "Gilgamesh: A New English Version"</em> in 2004. The book refers to the Sumerian poem "Epic of Gilgamesh," considered the first piece of literature on Earth. Gilgamesh was the King of Uruk, of the third dynasty of Ur.

In the book, the evidence that shows Gilgamesh is a great leader is the answer that gave to his friend, saying that he needed him to accomplish his feat and that together, teamwork, they would be very difficult to defeat.

The other options of the question were a) Gripping their axes, their knives unsheathed,/ they entered the forest and made their way through,/ the tangle of thorn bushes underfoot, c) Enkidu saw his dismay and said,/ dear friend, great warrior, noble hero,/ do not lose courage, remember this..., and d) they came in within sight of the monster's den. He was waiting inside.

Explain why Oedipus’s actions at the end of the Third Episode make sense.
arsen [322]
<span>The play isn't split into episodes or acts originally and I've only read the original Greek. Anyway, she killed herself because she could bear the burden of what she had done. She had slept with her own son, who also murdered her husband/his father. Also, she had given birth to Oedipus' children. So she then realized her children were the product of incest. She killed herself because she loved both her son and husband dearly and could not bear to face the fact that the prophecy turned out to be true. :)</span>
