Rewrite this paragraph by adding each of the following three transitional elements to the beginning of the appropriate sentence:
marusya05 [52]

History is by far my favorite subject in school. It is challenging learning new information. So, the challenge is well worth it for several reasons. First, it's great to learn about inspirational figures from the past. Today we learned about Abraham Lincoln, who guided America through the Civil War. Second, I get to see how the past has influenced our lives today. Therefore history helps us all learn to not make the same mistakes that were made in the past. Lastly history helps us grow and learn. There are just three of the reasons I can't wait for for history class.

How can i recognize slanted language
shusha [124]
ANSWER:

You can recognise slanted language when the language contains an intentional positive or negative bias or opinion rather than presenting the information or subject in a neutral manner.

You can refer to the table attached for examples and examine the difference between the way in which the same subject is described in a different manner; the left-hand side of the table presenting the subject in a neutral manner while the right-hand side presenting the subject with a negative bias or opinion.

Hope this helps! :)
