Explanation: The existence of a socially safe environment is an integral part of social development brought about by cohesion and improved interpersonal relationship between members of a society or environment. An environment could be tagged as being socially safe if it is devoid of sour, selfish and abusive relationship among individuals of the group. These kind of environment could be achieved through individual and collective inculcation of moral values capable of fostering social relationships such as Empathy, Respect and avoidance of selfish desires.

Empathy helps one to understand the emotional state of others. Selfishness is another factor which fosters a socially unsafe environment as it breaks and hinders trustworthy and healthy relationships.
