The correct answer is letter B

Martin Luther King, leader of the civil rights cause in the United States, was shot and killed in a Memphis hotel. The police hunted a suspect. The country was boiling.

The radiant dream of achieving freedom, recognized civil rights and racial harmony in the United States turned into a bitter nightmare on the afternoon of April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. Martin Luther King Jr., 39, a Baptist pastor and hero of the black American struggle for equality, was murdered on the second floor balcony of the Hotel Lorraine, where he was staying. A 1964 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, "Doctor King", as he was known, was talking to members of his entourage, just before leaving for dinner, when he was hit on the right side of the neck by a single, fatal high-powered projectile. caliber, fired from an estimated distance of 50 to 100 meters. The bullet exploded in his jaw and hurled him against the building's inner wall. King was even taken to the nearby Saint Joseph hospital. Less than an hour after the brutal attack, he was pronounced dead. Memphis police, who had not yet identified the sniper, were looking for a man in his 30s, wearing a black suit and tie, seen by witnesses leaving the surroundings in a state-of-the-art Mustang. The suspect was white.

In a 5-10 sentence paragraph, explain how the end of World War One, and the Treaty of Versailles, contributed to the rise of Fas
SpyIntel [72]
The first World War ended with the Treaty of Versailles, which ruined all of what Germany had gained from the war. Included was that Germany couldn't have an army of any great size nor power, large portions of the territory gained was taken, it forced Germany to pay for the damages which were caused, and to admit that the war itself was Germany's fault. Each part of this Treaty angered Germany. So when the Nazi's became popular, it appeared that the Nazi's (who were fascist) might be able to abrogate the treaty and Germany to what they thought was its rightful place as a major power, the Germans supported them.
