Explain how social categories, roles, and practices changed with the arrival of spanish and portuguese colonists in the 1450-175
valentinak56 [21]

With the arrival of Spanish and Portuguese colonists in the 1450-1750 period the conquest of the New World and creation of profitable colonies resulted in the restructuring of the social order. The two hemispheres were linked for the first time in world history and long-distance trade became worldwide.

During the 1450 -1750 period, as the New World was conquered by Spanish and Portuguese colonists new settlements were established along the coasts of Central and South America which led to growth of profitable crops and mining of precious metal. Many people migrated from Spain and Portuguese in search of economic opportunities and long-distance trade was established worldwide. As they intermarried with Native Americans women, they created new raced based social classes. The colonizers and missionaries enforced their beliefs on Native Americans supported by their economic and military power which resulted to cultural adaptations.

Which of the following statements represents a major consequence of the 1906 Atlanta Race Riot?
mel-nik [20]

Answer:

Segregation within the city of Atlanta increased.

Explanation:

The statement representing a significant consequence of the 1906 Atlanta Race Riot is "Segregation within the city of Atlanta increased."

While there was a form of depression among the African American community in terms of economic development in Atlanta, the Riot incidence led to many African American leaders disproving the accommodation methods proposed by Booker T Washington and embraced the aggressive techniques suggested by the likes of W.E.B Dubois, who wrote "The Litany of Atlanta."

This strong stance and statement led to increased in the level of segregation within the city of Atlanta.
