The best thing to do in this situation is likely to tell Jennifer in a calm manner as to why you are not able to attend her needs as you just finished your shift and it is not your time to do what you are supposed to do as a doctor and that you are going to suggest another doctor that may attend to her needs.

Historically what kind of relationship has the press had with the government?
tekilochka [14]

Historically the press has had an adversarial relationship with the government.

The word adversarial here means a relationship that is full of a lot of conflicts, oppositions and anger.

The reason for this is because the press is often charged with revealing or exposing the ills, the weaknesses and the wrongs of the government.

The constitution of the country recognizes the freedom of the press. So it is difficult for most governments to try to control them.

How does algae bloom in Florida areas affect their government at the local, state and national levels.
STALIN [3.7K]

Answer:

Local: Many local businesses that are on the water during an algae bloom get less traffic at their store and have to deal with the fact that they are losing customers during this time.

State: Many tourists avoid the coast that has the algae bloom because getting in the water poses as a harm to them. Sometimes, if it gets too intense, the state might have to release algae bloom warnings that requires everyone to stay out of the water.

National: Some seafood comes from Florida and algae blooms can kill wildlife off, making it contaminated and unsafe for human consumption. This can hurt seafood sales around the nation.

A true statement about corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives is that they _____.
meriva

Answer:

(C). Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives do not always generate immediate financial gains to the organization.

Explanation:

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the ethical effort made by an organization to contribute to the society and the environment in which it operates.

Organizations choose to do this in different ways such as hiring employees from within the community, building schools or hospitals, sponsoring activities, and so on.

CSR activities usually do not generate immediate financial gains or profit to the organization as the main focus of CSR is contributing to the community. In the long-term however, the goodwill generated by the organization's CSR actions, starts to yield financial rewards as they gain more customers from the community.

Give examples of how individuals can act as vulnerabilities, defenses, or threats to an information system
Fofino [41]

An example of how individuals can act as vulnerabilities, defense or threats to an information system is this given scenario:

A person can be vulnerable when someone had stolen something from him or her and she or he can’t do anything about it because he or she can’t catch the guy alone because he is armed, the police who had saw the scenario had brought a gun with him for defense and started to chase the guy and he will be considered as the defense. The threat will be the burglar as if he wasn’t able to be caught, he could be a threat towards others if he tries to do it again.
