Answer:

Limited convertibility

Explanation:

Limited Convertibility refers to a situation in which government regulations prevent the free conversion of the home currency into a foreign one. Because the government is only able to regulate currency transactions within its borders, foreigners are still able to trade the currency. Only residents are unable to convert a currency with limited convertibility.

Countries that are in the process of moving to a more open economy may need to open up currency restrictions in steps rather than all at once. This has been the case in the development of countries that once had centrally planned economies, as opening up domestic markets would subject the home market to foreign competition.

Why do you think societies need laws? what functions do laws provide to societies? what do you think life would be like if there
SVEN [57.7K]
I think societies need laws because if we had no laws people would steal, kill, kidnap, etc.. I think laws kind of put a warning to societies to at least warn someone if they do wrong they'll get punished. I think life would be bad chaos if we had no laws governing our behaviors. I am sorry if this is NOT what you needed. I simply gave my opinion!!!

alexandr402 [8]

Hello!

Lucky for you I know the answer!

By the 5th century BC, theatre had become formalized and was a major part of Athenian culture and civic pride, and this century is normally regarded as the Golden Age of Greek drama. The centerpiece of the annual Dionysia was a competition between three playwrights at the Theatre of Dionysus.

So it was around 5th century B.C.

Hope this helps!

What might be true if the government levied a 40% excise tax on alcohol? select all that could apply. correct answer(s) alcohol
antiseptic1488 [7]

There are two correct options from all the available ones in the question: alcohol has a highly inelastic demand and the government wants people to drink less.

A highly inelastic demand refers to an economic situation where demand for a product does not increase or decrease event though price rises or falls – even though the demand quantity for alcohol might fall, the total revenue will still be the same.

The second option is also correct since if the government levies a 40% tax on alcohol, they probably want the citizens to stop consuming them so much.
