When using the term 'life form' I assume you are speaking of animals, bacteria, etc. Scientists take years to find their desired conclusion because of how the environment tends to change quite frequently (Depending on where the creature lives). The earth is constantly revolving and rotating, which causes changes in the environment. These changes affect the animals behavior, eating habits, and overall chances of survival. A factor that must also be considered is that scientists have to examine these creatures in their natural habitat which can be an issue depending on where they live. For example, if I were to study the behavioral patterns of a Leopard, it would be extremely difficult to do so because the Leopards are specifically keen at camouflaging in their environment. That would make observing its behavioral patterns very frustrating and time consuming. In a way, mother nature is always against us.

(Hope this helps)

Give two examples of organisms that differ greatly in their biotic potential
stiv31 [10]

The two examples of organisms that differ greatly in their biotic potentials are -

1. Humans and orangutans - These have low biotic potential as they produce only one or two off springs at a time. They have long gestation periods and limited time span to produce offsprings.

2. Bacteria and Scorpio- These organisms have high biotic potential as they can produce thousands of offspring at a time. They also have a short gestation time, so throughout their life, they produce more offsprings.

The following picture shows the three primary types of plate boundaries. Which boundary is being shown in label A? an arrow poin
IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

The label A corresponds to Convergent boundary zones

Explanation:

When two oceanic plates collide, it occurs oceanic convergence. The thicker and older plate subduces under the other plate, and at this point, it starts the volcanic activity. As the thicker plate descends, it is heated and melted and its materials are incorporated into the mantle. The fast subduction originates magma that ascends to the surface by crevices. This makes place to the formation of grouped volcanic islands, the island arches. Subduction zones coincide with deep-sea trenches or depressions in the ocean bed. The volcanic islands are arranged in a circumference arch shape, which is bordered by a fossa. Most of these are located in the western Pacific, where the pacific crust is older and thicker, and hence it submerges easier in the mantle.
