Read the introduction and first paragraph to the essay about seat belt use. (1) Currently, different states have different laws

regarding seat belt usage. (2) For instance, in some states, only people in the front seat of a vehicle are required to wear a seat belt. (3) All states should pass equally strict laws that make wearing seat belts mandatory for all passengers and drivers. (4) Statistics show that seat belts reduce serious crash-related injuries and deaths by fifty percent. (5) As a result of stronger regulations in various states, seat belt usage in the United States has dramatically increased in the past thirty years. (6) Some people believe that the government does not have the right to force people to be safe, and that these laws are unfair. (7) The bottom line is that seat belts are proven to save lives; therefore, everyone should be forced to wear one if they want to travel by car or truck. Sentence 6: Some people believe that the government does not have the right to force people to be safe, and that these laws are unfair.

The counterargument in an essay is the argument that a person would make against the essay's overall claim. In this essay, the author is arguing for consistent seat belt laws across all states for both drivers and passengers. The author wants the government to get involved because seat belts save lives. The counterargument contradicts the author in that it argues that the government should not be the one deciding whether or not a person should be wearing a seat belt. Laws for seat belts are unfair as they infringe upon a person's rights.

Read the paragraph.
Maru [420]

Answer:

Which sentence is the topic sentence? 3

Which sentence is the concluding sentence? 4

Which sentence does not support the topic of the paragraph? 7

Explanation:

It's very simple to understand, The conclusion sentence should either restate the topic sentence or just wrap everything up. It makes the most sense that the topic sentence is 3 because it's a generic sentence, whereas the other sentences are supporting details. If the topic of the paragraph is 3, 7 is the sentence that does not support that topic.

Sorry if any of these are wrong!

How have black hawks cultural experiences shaped his view of his ancestors
jeka94

Blackhawk's very patriotic and thankful. His past experiences have made him see that maybe the only victory Native Americans can have is the opportunity to choose death over living a life full of weakness and immorality. Even though they were not capable of winning the battle due to the greater number of white men and their advanced weapons, they fought with honor for the things they believed in.
