Uncompromising values in the face of increasingly hard ethical choices is something that is troubling to many people who find themselves in the middle of situations that require high levels of ethical understanding

At that time, It is easier to have a well defined personal value system and to know what you believe in as a person to stand your ground for the things you believe should happen.  

By being clear about your current stance you can have more clarity where the others stances are coming from and where you could be wrong too.
