Brazil pasture land mainly lies in the unoccupied lands such as Goias, Mato Grosso, Sao Paulo etc. In the later years this spread to the Northern and Mid-west regions. The Amazon forest was also a high end pasture land due to high productivity.
In the Mid-west regions the cattle herds are mainly found in the Mato Grosso do Sul and the north of Mato Grosso.

b) Dairy cattle for milk with good butter fat
c) Most of the Brazilian breed consists of Zebu and Taurine breed.
