Why would a department that is traditionally focused on domestic issues become involved in foreign policy-making
Mariana [72]

A department that is traditionally focused on domestic issues could become involved in foreign policy-making because of two main reasons:

  • It can regulate a good or service given internationally. For example, it can be clothes or technological devices.
  • Foreign policy-making (or foreign relations), also regulates behavior that could have an international consequence. For example, it could be a business that contaminates the environment.

When was Germany at war with Russia and France? When was a truce signed? How
myrzilka [38]
The Armistice of 11 November 1918 was the armistice signed at Le Francport near Compiègne that ended fighting on land, sea and air in World War I between the Allies and their last remaining opponent, Germany. Previous armistices had been agreed with Bulgaria, the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Also known as the Armistice of Compiègne from the place where it was signed at 5:45 a.m. by the Allied Supreme Commander, French Marshal Ferdinand Foch,[1] it came into force at 11:00 a.m. Paris time on 11 November 1918 and marked a victory for the Allies and a defeat for Germany, although not formally a surrender.

In what new way were movies used during the great depression and world war 2?
Scorpion4ik [409]
Movies were often used as political propaganda. For example, during world war 2, movies shown were either about the war or were actual scenes from the war using footage by people on the war fronts. This was done to improve morale and inspire people to join the effort. The movies would be about monstrosities by the enemies and about war heroes of the allies and the people would join the fight and want to help.
