The correct answer is option a. "memories a piece of literature brings to mind". Hexagonal writing is a very personal type of expressing an idea, usually comprised of an analysis of pros and cons of the theme explored in the text. In hexagonal writing personal allusions are the emotions or memoirs that the writer reminds from a literature being analyzed. Usually, the writer chooses different forms of analyzing the literature, each form is each side of the hexagon.

Sav [38]

Answer:

Dally from The Outsiders was shot by the police

Explanation:

Dally from The Outsiders was shot by the police

Dally was actually on a run from the police because he held up a liquor store. When Dally called Darrel to ask for help, the gang agreed to meet with him in an empty plot. When Dally reaches the place,  he encounters the police there. Dally showed them his empty gun, but the police thought that he was about to shoot. So the police opened fire and Dally was shot.

It was revealed later by Ponytail that Dally actually didn't want to live, because he was a great friend of Johnny and felt guilty because of what happened to him. So that is why he decided to leave the world with the help of the police.

IRISSAK [1]

The details that hint this story takes place a long time ago are:

"shingled one- and two-room houses clamped themselves to the rocks like oysters";

"the chopping block one man was using to split his cordwood".

This story takes place at a fishing village, so many of the elements mentioned in the excerpt are still commonly seen at similar places. What identifies the story as taking place long ago are the architectural style of houses and the man chopping wood.

Shingled houses first appeared in the early 1880's. They were a combination of Colonial American and British architectures.

As for the man chopping wood, it was a scene most ordinarily seen in the past. Although some people in some places might still do it - be it because they keep a fireplace or a wood-burning stove -, it is not as common nowadays.
