Answer:

1) translocation 2) deletion 3) inversion 4) duplication

Explanation:

As we can see in the image that lower part of the first chromosome has detached itself from the parent chromosome and has reattached itself at the lower base of the second chromosome. This happens in translocation only.

In the second stage, section A of the chromosome is released and only section Band C are left. This kind of mutation is termed as deletion.

In the next image it is shown that B and C interchange their position. This happens in inversion.

And lastly there are two copies of each set and hence it is the duplication

Can someone pl help me? :(
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

D in my opinion wouldn't be correct because a vaccine is for if you come in contact with the sickness you are more protected and helps build immunity. So healthy people get them to try and build immunity against said vaccine. Like if you have the flu, your body is fighting. In the Flu vaccine parts of the flu are in the vaccine to help your body learn to become immune. So option C.

Sorry if this is confusing, hope it helps!

Carlson received a blue-eyed allele from BOTH of his biological parents. What is the term to describe this gene pattern
Bond [772]

Answer: Recessive Gene. Homo zygote Allele.

Explanation:

Each gene is composed of two alleles. Alleles can be Dominant or Recessive. A Dominant gene is always expressed on the Phenotype (XX/Xx); A Recessive gene expresses on the Phenotype if both alleles are the same (xx).

In this statement, it's implied that the gene that codes for "blue-eyes" is recessive, since both parents had to provide the same allele for it to express.
