(1) Meteorological/Climate factor: -Rainfall intensity -Rainfall amount -Rainfall duration -Distribution of rainfall over the drainage basin. (2) Phsyiographic factors (e.g. watershed) - watershed size -Watershed shape -watershed slope (3) Vegetation - Dense vegetation leads to less run-off while sparse vegetation leads to more run-off. (4) Urban development. - Roads and buildings have do not allow infiltration into the soil. Water will therefore run off directly into the stream, at a very fast rate and in significant volume.

Several types of animal in the Boreal Forest hibernate in order to survive the winter without food. This is an example of...
ElenaW [278]

Answer:

This is an example of adaptation and enviromental pressure.

Explanation:

Say you were to move to somewhere where the climate is nothing like you are used to. You would have to adapt to the new climate. The animals in the Boreal forest have to adapt to the climate and know they don't get food in the winter.

The cold weather forces them to do this, honestly. So this is also an example of enviromental pressure bc nature is pressuring them to do this.

Hope this helps

Which of the following provinces did not ratify the canadaian constitution after canada gained complete indpendence
raketka [301]
The Canadian province that did not ratify the Canadian constitution act after Canada gained complete independence was Quebec. Historically Quebec has been a French territory, unlike the other Canadian provinces that were English territories. The different backgrounds, relations and cultural differences, as well as Quebec's ambition to become a separate country, were all reasons for this province to not ratify the Canadian constitution act.
