What can you infer about Sergei's character based in the way he used his first two wishes

English
1 answer:
Dafna11 [192]3 years ago
5 0
Sergei is a secretive man. He does not like people asking him questions. When he lived in the Soviet Union, any knock on the door was the KGB asking questions which could get his family locked up in jail. Sergei used the first two wishes to look after other people. His sister was stricken with an incurable form of cancer. Sergei asked the fish to reverse the cancer. The second wish was to help his wife's son. Both these wishes show that Sergei cared about other people more than himself

Is a memoir a confession or a thoughtful insight? how can a memoir be a confession? how can a memoir be a thoughtful insight?
andrew11 [14]
A memoir can be a confession insofar as it is a person's attempt to tell a truth that has not been told before, or has not been told publicly. A memoir can be a thoughtful insight insofar as it takes events and memories and parses them out to look for deeper meanings or more general truths. A memoir can be both at the same time or just one depending on the kind of memoir it is.
