Hi! So I've currently learned about the electronic configuration of elements. Although i'd like to take 1 step ahead. I've been

told that the first shell can hold a maximum of 2 electrons the second shell can hold a maximum of 8 and the 3rd shell too. However im curious how many electrons in the 4th and 5th shell? Is there a pattern to this or number to memorise?

There's a pattern. You have to learn about some other quantum numbers, subshells etc..
Btw 4th shell=32 e
5th shell=50

Why don't metals in column 2 have electron affinity?
Step2247 [10]
Electron affinity is defined as the change in energy (in kJ/mole) of a neutral atom (in the gaseous phase) when an electron is added to the atom to form a negative ion. In other words, the neutral atom's likelihood of gaining an electron.

How do cardiorespiratory fitness and endurance differ from each other?
OleMash [197]

The difference in cardio-respiratory fitness and cardio-respiratory endurance is a very thin line. Cardio endurance the physical fitness of a person is measured.

It is termed as the ability of a person's body to send nutrients and oxygen continuously to all parts of the body when a physical activity (including lungs and heart) is done for a prolonged period of time. While cardio-respiratory fitness can be called as the fitness of the lungs and heart of a person's body.
