Main protagonists were Aristotle and Ptolemy. Later in the Middle Ages, Christian church adopted this system as the only one possible.

Heliocentric system explains that Sun is the center of the system and Earth and other plates rotates around it. Modern science today accept this as the only model giving list of proofs for it. Copernicus and Galileo were the main protagonists of Solar system (between XVI and XVII century).
