Tragically, Amphimonus was the most well-behaved of the suitors. Although Odysseus did warn him of what was to happen, Athena compelled him to stay, since he was a suitor anyway. Telemachus was the one to kill him with a spear. The irony is in the fact that not only was he well behaved, he was also the one who tried to make the other suitors give up on killing Telemachus.
