The Populist Party is a protest from farmers in the South and MidWest against the Democratic and Republican countries for taking for granted their difficulties and struggles. A lot of farmers suffered from crop failures, poor facilities and marketing and has been buried in debts due to drought and other calamities. All these struggles fueled with anger to all railroads, money lenders and to those who contributed to their misery led the farmers to protest.
