Hasan is having trouble finding ant differing viewpoints on his research topic. Which of the following is likely the problem wit
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

D. The topic is not debatable.

Explanation:

If Hasan is having trouble finding any differing viewpoints on his research topic it is likely because not many people disagree with his claim. This means that he has taken a position that is too obviously supported, and that the topic is not debatable. He should change his topic to something that is more controversial.

3. Choose the word that best defines the italicized word from the novel Frankenstein.
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

D. uncivilized

Explanation:

Since no word is italicized, I'll explain the word "barbarous", it being the only word that could be troublesome. The word comes from Greek "barbaros" which was the term for people not speaking Greek.

Romans later took the word and in Latin it meant "the one who comes from outside of Roman Empire".

Basically, the term meant "foreigner". But, since these foreigners came from territories and tribes that were on a less cultural and civilizational level then Romans, this term soon denoted someone who is savage, uncivilized, brutal.
