Lobbyists can influence elected officials by presenting their point of view in a carefully reasoned and detailed manner like stopping an oil pipeline for example and showing how many people oppose it and petitions can be used for this also and also using the knowledge that for every person who speaks up about something there are 100 more voters out there who believe the same thing.

How can citizens settle disagreements and conflict
TEA [102]

Answer:

Citizens can settle disagreements and conflict by identifying points of agreement and disagreement between the conflicting parts, through dialogue, until both (or more) parts agree on the areas of disagreement or conflict.

Citizens can settle disagreements and conflict by arranging a plan to work on the areas of conflict and focusing on how the conflicting parts are going to improve those specific points in the future while forgeting about past events.

Hope this helps!
