Hi! Your answer is B. a semicolon

Here's why:
A. hyphen/dash- it doesn't make sense.
B. It's the correct answer. They are two independent clauses, and semicolons combine those sentences into one.
C. Dashes are used for lists. Not independent clauses.

D. Commas won't work, UNLESS you add something else, maybe. depends on what you add. But since that isn't a choice, it's b.

The correct answer is B because a semicolon is used between 2 closely related independent clauses, provided they are not already joined by a coordinating conjunction

How’s does Taylor feel about exploring the woods at the beginning, middle and ending of the story?what causes her feelings to cha
quester [9]
Taylor begins the story in awe of the woods and nature. There is a little sadness as she looks at the tree, knowing she will "never see this tree whole", since it has been split by lightning. In the middle, Taylor's exploration is focused on the bird; she is frightened of the bird and its beak that could "rip the nose off" her face, but concerned about it and interested as well. At the end, she becomes lost and afraid, because she doesn't know where she is.

Which is (are) NOT evidence that should be used to support an argument?
Anni [7]
All of the above besides your opinion or (D). In an argumentative essay, you are attempting to prove why your argument is correct and it is is unprofessional and not persuasive to use personal opinion. Don't get me wrong, an argumentative essay is about expressing your opinion on a matter but to put in words like "I believe" or "It is my opinion" weaken the argument that has the other three backing it up. Hope this helps.
