Couldnt find a page number (yet) but i do have three examples. one, the struggles she faced hardened her and took away her chance at having a childhood. a.k.a it made her mature mentally over the course of the book. two, it made her feel more inclined to care for her family and three, it showed her how harsh this reality actually is.... if i find more, i'll message you what i found, is that okay???
