This is the Gerund: Gerund is formed by adding -ing to the verb stem: for example: do-ing; mak-ing, kiss-ing.

nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

-The motive is played loudly.

-The motive is played a bit more slowly.

Explanation: The third section of sonata-allegro form is an organized structure based on contrasting musical ideas. The sonata-allegro is classified into three sections namely:

- Exposition

- Development

- Recapitulation

It sometimes includes an optional coda at the end.

In the exposition; the main melodic ideas, or themes, are introduced.

The recapitulation deals successfully with the two original themes by placing them both in the tonic key, which is the main tonal center of the piece and almost always the key in which the piece begins and ends.

What two players struck out in the poem Casey the bat
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

Casey at the Bat: A Ballad of the Republic Sung in 1888' is the full title of an American poem written by Ernest Lawrence Thayer. The poem tells the story of the final half-inning of a baseball game. The home team of Mudville is losing four to two. The first two batters for Mudville quickly strike out, but the following two get on base safely so that a home run will win the game for Mudville. The next batter is the team's star hitter Mighty Casey, whom the crowd believes will pull through.

In the poem, Mighty Casey gets two pitches right down the middle of the plate, but he passes them up, waiting for an even better pitch to hit. The crowd is in a frenzy because one more strike means that Casey is out and the game is over.

Mighty Casey sneers at the pitcher with determination, and the pitcher makes the third pitch. Casey swings incredibly hard, and the author notes that in other places in the country, people are happy and smiling -- but not in the ballpark because Casey has struck out to lose the game for Mudville.

Sullen is to moody as monotonous is to what * attractive, drab, repetitious, varied
nydimaria [60]
Answer : repetitious

The question above is an example of an analogy. An analogy is one way of comparing things based on its structure. The first pair sullen and moody shows a synonymous relationship because the synonym of sullen is moody therefore, the next pair should be in a synonymous relationship also. It can be concluded that monotonous is to repetitious because the synonym of monotonous is repetitious. It can also mean dull, tedious or  the one that lacks variety.
