The militarization in WW1 created, as a consequence, countries which could have been at the time considered to be war factories where every citizen played his part to keep the war machine running. This is probably the main effect of militarism. The other was an increased advancement of technologies.

Why did the Mexican war of independence start what are the causes?
sammy [17]
Two things that helped spark the revolution were the salons and the location of Mexico. The revolution went on for 11 years, with much of it being fought by the peasants and low class citizens. Also, because of this divide the revolution had two different leaders when it first began. Because the country remained divided between upper and lower class, the Mexican forces were able to be easily defeated, thus making the revolution long and drawn out. An effect of this was that the rebel army had many different commanders, thus making it hard for any one of them to lead the revolution for long, with Morelos only serving for four years before his execution in 1815. This frequent change in command made it difficult to bridge the class divide and unite the country.

Which 2 causes for the fall of Rome were most important? explain why.
Gennadij [26K]

Invasions by Barbarian tribes. ...

Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor. ...

The rise of the Eastern Empire. ...

The most important reason for the collapse of Rome was the failure to actually integrate what they conquered. When Roman soldiers conquered new lands, it was rare that they ever attempted to force their culture, ideals, or laws upon the natives and barbarians. Thus, when the Empire began suffering internal struggles, the natives they had conquered decided to take action, which lead to the swift collapse by barbarian invasion from all sides. It's hard to pick a LEAST important reason, seeing that there were many of them, but I suppose a contender would most likely be the common refusal of the Empire to even acknowledge that barbarians were rising. On the outer edges of their territory, in places like Gaul and Morocco, the Roman government was reluctant to even recognize the threat of the barbarians, thinking that even accepting that these barbarians were causing trouble would weaken their prestige in the public eye.
