An easy way to identify an unbiased source is it won't have any first person pronouns ( I, me, my)
you could b patient n wait for good things to come , b strong n tough for yourself , ppl you love , n for ppl who love you . you have to face your problems instead of of running away from them . believe in yourself n all will work :))) .
Hummingbirds eat often because they use up so much energy while flying.
I think it's clarity, the story has to be clear so that the readers understand.

passage 1: Passage one has a mostly positive tone. Allow me to explain. The words used can set a peaceful, calm mood and allow you to paint a beautiful picture in your mind. Words such as bobbed, lapped and quaint suggest calm movements and an enjoyable environment. However Passage 2 is mostly negative in tone. This scene, unlike passage 1 sets a miserable, dark mood, and seems like an unlikely place to be comfortable in. Words such as ragged, frigid, slapped and weathered suggests a worn raft, cold waters, and miserable conditions, perhaps life threatening. Therefore, it is negative in tone. To sum up everything previously stated, passage 1 has a mostly positive tone, whereas passage 2 is mostly negative.
