Mathematics

Here is your answer:

First, change the mixed numbers into improper fractions:

5\frac{1}{5} \neq \frac{26}{5}

2\frac{2}{3} \neq \frac{8}{3}

Now multiply:

\frac{26}{5} \times\frac{8}{3} =\frac{208}{15}

Then turn the improper fraction into a mixed number:

\frac{208}{15} =13\frac{13}{15}

Therefore your answer is "13 13/15!"

Hope this helps!

Identify the domain and range of each relationship. Represent the relation with a mapping diagram. Is the relation a function?
Ivenika [448]
Remember, to be a function, all elements in the domain should correspond to one element in the range.
The domain is the x coordinate, range is the y coordinate.
The domain we can solve for as the set {4.2, 5, 7}. The range is the set {0, 1.5, 2.2, 4.8}.
But we see that an element in the domain corresponds to more than one element in the range, thus making it not a function.

Let f(x) = - 10x + 9 and g(x) = x2 + 12 <br>Find f( - 4)/g( - 4)
Reptile [31]

Answer:

\frac{49}{28}

Step-by-step explanation:

Evaluate g(- 4) and f(- 4) by substituting x = - 4 into g(x) and f(x), that is

f(- 4) = - 10(- 4) + 9 = 40 + 9 = 49

g(- 4) = (- 4)² + 12 = 16 + 12 = 28

Then

\frac{f(-4)}{g(-4)} = \frac{49}{28} = \frac{7}{4}
