Carter is watching funny videos at his best friend Dustin's house. While they're both huddled around Dustin's laptop, Carter see

s an instant message pop up on the screen. Dustin closes the instant message window as fast as he can, but Carter was able to read it—it contained a message that physically threatened Dustin. When he asks Dustin about it he brushes it off saying, "It's nothing, man."
To help, Carter should respect Dustin's wishes for privacy and not bring it up the instant message again.
