The answer is B<em>.Darkness </em>is a very much used resource for creating suspense.Apart from that, there is also the mentioning of the feeling <em>unease.</em>This sample of language connected to darkness creates a sense of suspense as you do not know what it is going to happen next and besides , as a reader you are also in the dark.
