The Fourteenth Amendment's equal protection clause was enacted to ensure that all people have the same right within the law regardless of where they came from or the color of their skin.
This later on lead to the principle, that Even Government officials will have to be subjected to law just as ordinary citizen do. Which lead to the creation of check and balance system

During the leadership of Sukeyman-1, Ottoman Empire was at its peak, but his signs of weakness showed slow and steady decline of Ottoman Empire as well.  

After Suleyman-1 died, there was a lot of Corruption and Nepotism that took place in Ottoman Empire. There were Economic instabilities and Social unrest among people. The main reason of their defeat in World War-1 was overly hasty calculation of taking early advantage in the war.
