The costs of everything were rapidly increased and there was a lot of unemployment. Suddenly a bunch of new workers joined the market consisting of both those who served in the military and those who stayed at home and the economy started becoming really bad. This is why Harding won presidency since he devised a way to solve this.

During the demobilization phase, the rates of food prices and other commodities went up to a very high level and thereby it caused inflation in the US economy. As a result of inflation, everything in the market becomes expensive and hence the cost of living for general public and workers went up and they find it difficult to meet their basic needs.

Volume ..............
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

you sure it's asking volume, not area?

4.) area = 1/2 (pi*r^2)

= 1/2 (pi*22^2)

= 1/2 (pi * 484)

= 1/2 (1519.76)

= 759.88

5.) area = 1/2*b*h

= 1/2*(20.4)*(14.6)

6.) area = 1/2 * (B1+B2) * h

= 1/2 (33+25) * h

h = Pythagorean theorem = 16.1245

= 1/2*(58)*16.1245

Which cloth was popular in England for its floral design texture and low price
mr_godi [17]

Answer:

Chintz - printed cotton

Explanation:

Chintz is the type of cloth made of cotton which is printed upon. The design features colorful, vivid colors. It was imported from India, and it started being sold in Europe at the beginning of the seventeenth century. It was rather cheap, and people used it frequently in England. It was mostly used for the furniture and curtains but later was turned into the dresses for maids and servants.

The European textile makers could not get a hold on the process of making, so they were using profits as chintz was so widely popular. Therefore, the English Parliament forbade the import of chintz and usage of the material in 1720. The ban was lifted in 1759. when the mills of England and France started producing their chintz fabric.
