The answer is B. Segregation was legal as long as facilities were operated but equal. Because at that time discrimination was a huge deal in the southern state. They all through that separating the people based on their race was acceptable. And it’s ok to do that. They also thought that even though they’re separated, they’re equal. Which later on outlawed this kind of misconceptions.
