'Night' is a memoir written by Elie Wiesel. The memoir shares the experience of a father and son in the Concentration camps.

In Section 1 of the memoir, Elie shares the time during the Eight Days of Passover under the Germans. He narrates that seven days of the Passover passed by peaceably but on the seventh day Jewish leader was arrested and edicts were issued by the Germans.
