Why is skaneateles not affected by acid rain as much as we may think it would be ?
Mila [183]

Answer: It would not be affected too much by the acid rain, because when the jet stream flows into the parts of the USA, it brings acid along in the stream. However, a lot of acid is lost. By the time it reaches Skaneateles (a town in Onondaga County, New York) the stream has already traveled a long distance as a result losing an ample amount of acid on its way.
