I would think it is A) because it is comparing how the seasons change when the earth turns.

Answer:

The best answer to the question: Which one of the following sentences best expresses the main idea of this poem?, would be, A: Seasons and Ferris Wheels are like the Earth´s journey around the Sun.

Explanation:

This poem uses a metaphoric device, in order to liken, both, the movement´s of the Ferris Wheel, and that of the four seasons, with the Earth´s circular, rotating, stable, movements around the Sun. When you think about a Ferris Wheel, you think about its circular motion, but also, that it is static, and that it has four ways to go, starting point, middle, or right-hand point, highest point, or topmost point, and then again middle, left-hand point, and back to its beginning at the bottom. Just like that, the four seasons happen in a circular pattern, never changing, because the Earth´s rotation movement around the Sun, ensure that this will always be so, and in that particular order. Only something major could ever change the similarity between the Earth´s movements and the change of the seasons, and that of the Ferris Wheel.
