Running is my life. Beginning last summer I practiced every day from the early break of dawn until the heat of the midday sun fo

rced me to take a break. Sipping from my bottle of icy water to keep myself hydrated, I dreamed about running a mile in under ten minutes to compete in the statewide race. Answer:

Option A. Lukas should put the paragraph at the beginning of the essay.

Explanation:

The paragraph correctly introduces what will probably be the main theme of the essay, which is the importance of running in Lukas' life. Not only does introduces the theme, but it does it in an appealing way that if put at the beginning of the essay, will most likely hook the readers to keep on reading through the story, which is the main objective that any author has when writing.

How are clause and brought alike
Rina8888 [55]
Words clause and brought have similar spelling: clause is spelled 'klawz', and brought is spelled 'brawt'. So, both are spelled with 'aw'. On the other hand, their meaning is different. Also, clause is a noun while brought is a verb. A clause is a syntactic construction that forms part of a sentence or is a whole simple sentence. Brought is simple past tense and past participle of 'bring'.
