The triangles PRQ and MRN has a congruent angle, the angle in vertex R is a common angle, a right angle (angle of 90°):
1) Angle PRQ of triangle PRQ is congruent with angle MRN of triangle MRN

The sides that form the congruent angle in triangle PRQ has a proportion of:
(Major side) / (Minor side) = RQ / PR = 18 / 12 = 1.500

The sides that form the congruent angle in triangle MRN has a proportion of:
(Major side) / (Minor side) = MR / RN = 8 / 6 = 1.333

2) The side that form the congruent angle are not proportionals (1.500 in triangle PRQ and 1.333 in triangle MRN).

Conclusion: The triangles are not similars.

Answer: The triangles are not similars

I need help with this please
hoa [83]

Answer:

z = 113

y = 31

Step-by-step explanation:

j || n and line a is their transversal. (given)

Therefore,

z° = 180° - 67° (exterior angles on the same side of transversal)

z°= 113°

z = 113

(5y - 88)° = 67° (exterior alternate angles)

5y - 88 = 67

5y = 67 + 88

5y = 155

y = 155/5

y = 31

What scientific value for n will make this equation true?<br> (4.8 × 10–3)(n) = 9.6 × 109
charle [14.2K]

Answer:

n=2*10^{12}

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

(4.8*10^{-3})(n)=9.6*10^{9}

Solve for n

That means-----> isolate the variable n

Divide by (4.8*10^{-3}) both sides

n=\frac{9.6*10^{9}}{4.8*10^{-3}}\\\\n=\frac{9.6}{4.8}*10^{(9+3)}\\ \\ n=2*10^{12}
