Quite hard to answer
the pronunciation of the vowels a and e are different
(I do not know the phonetic signs)

Many words are pronounced differently.

Oh course the cognate words gat an English accent......

But I don't know how to explain in a few words all the differences....

in English tou don't pronounce the r . In French it's a real R like ....I don't find . It's not "swalloved" its a RRRRRR

Like the U it's not "ou" as it is pronounced in English , it's a U very acute...

Well, too many differences . It can"t be written , only heard

hope I helped a little ....!!!
