Why do people follow the crowd?

English

I think people "follow the crowd" because of peer pressure. People don't like being singled out or treated differently than the rest. So they try to fit in, or change their personality or self to be like their peers.

Hope this helps!

What month does the old man and the sea take place
Semmy [17]

Answer:

September

Explanation:

Although The Old Man and the Sea takes place in September of 1950, it exists outside (or just at the edge) of these and other significant events of the period. However, the novella does reflect a universal pattern of socioeconomic change familiar even today among developing nations.

The correct answer is " A. He was wondering whether Mrs. Sappleton was in the married or widowed state"
This is the correct answer because it would be obvious if one was married or a widow. So to not be sure whether she was widowed or not is suspicious.
