Jessica asked Amanda if something was wrong. Nervously, Amanda avoided the question and told about the football game on the regular schedule Saturday night TV show. Jessica looked at her sister with a raised eyebrow. Once again, Jessica asked Amanda what was wrong. Amanda sighed and informed Jessica about stealing the money from her work place. Jessica’s eyes widened in shock as Amanda told her the news. She was speechless and appalled by her sister’s actions. She felt sick to her stomach and disgusted from the crime Amanda committed. Quickly, Amanda tried to explain herself and justify her actions. She explained to Jessica that it was the only way to pay the expenses of her sister’s surgery. Jessica no longer viewed Amanda as her sister, especially not her friend or best friend.
