Even though they might not be one of the big name hospitals, (or the oligopolies in the market) they have a successful lifetime

in the market due to the high demand for emergency response. that is why the healthcare system is very unique, in most markets where there are leading businesses kind of taking charge of the market, it drastically affects the smaller or less popular businesses in the market. for example if it is a product, a lot of people will explore their options, do research, and go with the best pick, however when an emergency occurs, people don't always have that luxury therefore all hospitals get adequate business from its community.

hammer [34]

Answer:

D. The marginal cost of light is zero, and by convention zero-priced goods and services are excluded from GDP

Explanation:

Only things that have a monetary cost are included in GDP. Things that do not cost "anything" in monetary terms are not included, and this is a major shortcoming of GDP.

From an ecological economics standpoint, things like sunlight, air, and water are often not valued and included in GDP. This is the same case as in the question, because the marginal cost of light is zero, then, it is not included in GDP.

charle [14.2K]

Answer: $3,250,000

Explanation:

The Current Ratio is used to calculate if the company's current assets can pay off it's current Liabilities.

It is calculated by dividing Current Assets by Current Liabilities.

The company plans to increase it's note payable to enable it but more Inventory. We can therefore assume that the increase in notes Payable (current Liability) will be the same as the increase in inventory (current asset) since the former is funding the latter.

The company does not want the current Ratio dropping below 1.2 so 1.2 is the ideal ratio.

The formula will therefore be;

1.2 = (Current Assets + Change in Notes Payable ) / Current Liabilities + Change in Notes Payable

1.2 = (1,250,000 + Change in Notes Payable) / 500,000 + Change in Notes Payable

600,000 + 1.2(Change in Notes Payable) = 1,250,000 + Change in Notes Payable

1.2( Change in Notes Payable) - Change in Notes Payable = 1,250,000 - 600,000

0.2 (Change in Notes Payable) = 650,000

Change in Notes Payable = $3,250,000
