By making inferences based on analysis of a character, the reader is able to determine a character’s?
lozanna [386]

Answer:

Motivation.

Explanation:

A character's motivation is the reason behind their behavior and why they had to act in such and such ways. This also reveals their excuses and perception of things which, in a way, is what led them to do those acts.

And by making an inference based on the analysis of the character, the reader can infer the character's motivation. It will give access to understand the event from the character's perspective and also learn about the side of the story from the character's. And such motivations need not be just extrinsic or external characteristics, they can also be internal ones, based on emotions and reasoning too.

Click to read "The Story of Daedalus and Icarus" by Ovid. Then answer the question.
Lelechka [254]

The answer is:

A. Brueghel's painting focuses on the people of the coast rather than Icarus.

In "The Story of Daedalus and Icarus," by Ovid, Daedalus escapes with his son Icarus by making wings out of feathers glued with bees wax. Icarus ignores his father's warning and flies close to the sun, so the bees wax melts and he falls into the sea.

The painting by Brueghel depicts a landscape with a few people working and Icarus plunging in the water in the background. However, it does not include Daedalus, who reaches his destination and survives in Ovid's story.
