A political party is an organization with people who have common political principles and ideas. These principles are called ideology. It is a form of representation of political power that is guided by the political and social values of a group. In addition to representing a form of political thinking, parties are formed to ensure that the system of representative democracy is respected. Representative democracy is the form of political exercise in which citizens vote for politicians who will be their representatives. The fact that the major parties cooperate to discourage minor parties and yet compete vigorously against each other during elections means that they believe they can represent everyone. At the same time, the reality says that is not true.

The United States has historically favored a 2-Party System, with the Democrats and Republicans, the 2 major parties controlling most aspects of the government and public policy. The fact that the major parties cooperate to discourage minor parties shows that one party wants control of the government to implement its policies. Despite other political parties existing in the US they rarely have more than a a very modest impact in government politics.

Answer:

Svetradugi [14.3K]
The three rights that were mentioned were rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and that men organize into governments in order to protect these rights. If a government should infringe upon these rights then they should be replaced since they need to have the will of the governed behind them in order to ensure the existence of these rights.
