Answer:

Answer : Economic Cost = $80.000

Normal Rate of return  = 300 %

Economic Profit =  $40, 000

Accounting Profit = $90,000

Explanation

Total Revenue = $1,20000

Total Cost = $30,000 +$50,000

Oppotunity cost is included in Economic Cost.

Hence EC (Economic Cost) = 30,000+50,000

= $80,000

Normal Rate of return = (1,20000 - 30,000)/ 30,000

= 300 %

Accounting Profit = Total Revenue - Explicit cost

= $120,000 -$30,000

= $90,000

Economic Profit = $120,000 -$30,000 - $50,000

= $40, 000

Relationship  between Average Total Cost (ATC) and Marginal Cost (MC)

When MC falls, ATC also falls but rate of fall is higher in ATC.

ATC cuts MC where ATC is minimum.

Answer:

1) total revenue = $120,000

yearly costs = $30,000

opportunity costs of investment = $50,000

  • economic costs include both accounting and opportunity costs = $30,000 + $50,000 = $80,000
  • normal rate of return = accounting profit / investment* we are not given the investment amount, only the returns that the investment could yield, so we cannot calculate the normal rate of return
  • accounting profit = $120,000 - $30,000 = $90,000
  • economic profit = $120,000 - $30,000 - $50,000 = $40,000

3) When average total cost increases, that means that the marginal cost must be greater than the average total cost. If the addition of another unit of output does not change average total cost, it means marginal cost = average total cost.

4) Accounting costs only include explicit expenses (e.g. materials, utilities, labor, etc.), while economic costs include implicit or opportunity costs. Opportunity costs are the extra costs or benefits lost from choosing one activity or investment from another alternative.

5) The normal rate of return is how much profits does a specific investment yield (in percentage). There is no absolute good or bad rate of return. For example, risky investments that yield 15% per year are considered good investments, but some secure investments that yield 5-10% can also be considered good investments that yield high rates of return. investors are risk averse, so the riskier the investment, the higher the return they will expect form it.

Ivahew [28]

Answer:

$198,000

Explanation:

Following amount of property tax revenues should the city report in the government-wide financial statements for the current fiscal year

During the year collection =  $170,000

During the first two months of the following year =  $25,000

Prior year taxes =  $3,000

Total = $170,000 + $25,000 + $3,000 = $198,000

When a company uses a marketing discipline and combines computer technology and databases with customer service and marketing co
Alecsey [184]

The marketing mix refers to the set of actions, or techniques, that a firm does to promote its brand or product in the market.

<h3>What is marketing mix?</h3>

A foundational business model known as the "marketing mix" historically focused on the four Ps of product, price, location, and promotion (also known as the "4 Ps"). The phrase "collection of marketing instruments that the firm utilizes to pursue its marketing objectives in the target market" refers to the marketing mix.

Early in the twenty-first century, marketing theory first appeared. The modern marketing mix was initially published in 1984 and has since evolved into the framework for all marketing management choices.

The residents of Vegopia spend all of their income on cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. In 2016, they spend a total of $250 fo
kari74 [83]

Answer:

10%

Explanation:

Price of One Unit of Good= Total Spending ÷ Total Quantity

In 2016,

They spend a total of $250 for 100 heads of cauliflower

Price of One Unit of Cauliflower=250÷100=$2.50 per unit

$100 for 50 bunches of broccoli,

Price of One Unit of Brocolli =100÷50=$2 per unit

$250 for 500 carrots

Price of One Unit of carrot =250÷500=$0.50 per unit

In 2017,

They spend a total of $210 for 60 heads of cauliflower

Price of One Unit of Cauliflower=210÷60=$3.50 per unit

$180 for 90 bunches of broccoli,

Price of One Unit of Brocolli =180÷90=$2 per unit

$270 for 450 carrots

Price of One Unit of carrot =270÷450=$0.60 per unit

\left\begin{array}{cccc}Year & Cauliflower & Broccoli & Carrot \\ 2016 & 2.50 & 2.00 & 0.50 \\ 2017 & 3.50 &2.00 & 0.60 \end{array} \right

Using 2016 as the base year, the CPI for 2016 is 100,

Therefore the CPI for 2017:

\frac{210 + 180 + 270}{250 + 100 + 250} X 100 = \frac{660}{600} X 100 =110

Therefore the inflation rate in 2017 using the CPI is:

Inflation rate = \frac{110-100}{100} X 100 = 10%.
