Ponyboy runs away with Johnny till Ponyboy calmed down. They walk back and stop at a park, then five Socs show up. The Socs started drowning Ponyboy in fountain and Johnny pulls out his switch blade. Johnny stabs a Soc named Bob, they rest of the Socs run away.

Posttraumatic growth is a kind of development take place after a sudden attack on life. In a very narrow cases this type of growth is seen but in most of them it is life threatening.
