Explain the differences and similarities between the Black Codes and Jim Crow Laws.
Effectus [21]

Answer:

The Black codes were basically put in place to limit the freedom of blacks after slavery was abolished in the USA during Civil War. They were free but when they did hard labor they weren't nearly paid as much as the whites.

The Jim Crow laws enforced racial segregation in the Southern United States, locally and throughout states. They made it so it was very very hard for blacks to earn money and basically threw them out financially in every way possible.
