Success is counted sweetest by Emily Dickinson

Arts
1 answer:
Ann [662]3 years ago

Answer:

B. People who don't experience success understand its sweetness the most. The people who are victorious in a battle cannot appreciate victory as much as the dying solider who suffers the loss.

Explanation:

Emily Dickinson's poem <em>Success is Counted Sweetest</em> tells the reality of human life. The poet states that <em>"success is counted sweetest by those who never succeed"</em>. This means that a dying, fallen soldier understands the sweetness of victory more than the victorious soldiers. Simply put, success is best understood by those who did not succeed. It is best appreciated by those who did not succeed.

Thus, the best paraphrase for the given poem is option B.

MakcuM [25]

Answer:

If you are on a woodwind instrument:

The notes at the top represent one instrument's part and the notes at the bottom represent another one of the same instrument's part. if the two instruments play in unison, there should be a nice harmonic sound.

For example, if you had two trumpets playing this piece, one would play the higher octave and the other would play the lower octave.

If you are on a Piano:

You can play these notes at the same time.

Count carefully and look at the time signature, key signature, rests, and articulation!

Good luck!
