No it is false because the Articles of Confederation came before the Constitution, and were too weak which is why the Constitution replaced them and put more power in the hands of the central government.

  • The horrors of battlefields and new military innovations contributed to World War I's extraordinary levels of death and damage.
  • Completed 16 million people had died by the period when the war was completed and the Allied Armies declared victory, including both troops and civilians.
  • It was referred to as "The Great War," a dreadful land, air, and sea combat that claimed the lives of over 6.6 million civilians in addition to nearly 8 million military troops.
